About Dropper

Here we explain more about the motivation behind Dropper, the problems today and how we solve them.

1. Why Dropper Was Created

We (the team behind Dropper) have ourselves run a scaling online store. Starting at the end of 2021 and into early 2022, we had thousands of orders, tens of millions in revenue - but also a lot of chaos. We had multiple ways to sell, pack, ship, track, and return orders, among other things. Not only that, but for different customers and products we had to use different software for handling, paid large sums for primitive functionality, and in return nothing was synchronized or automated. Often it was the customers themselves who had to contact us to report problems along the way, and when we received the inquiry we had no idea it was happening - very embarrassing! How serious of a company are you when you can't make sure orders are delivered as agreed? We probably lost many customers when we struggled with follow-up and oversight, and we imagine this is the case for many others.

2. What We're Building

In short, we solve the problem businesses have with gathering everything on one platform after an order has been placed in their online store. Everything from shipping, tracking, analytics, reports, returns, portals, surveys, campaigns and more. To make it easier for our customers, we have also established agreements and contracts with leading providers in transport (like Bring, PostNord), automation (like Zapier), integration (like accounting software, CRM), campaigns (email), surveys and more.

3. Who's Building This?

We are a team of 4 people with experience from the e-commerce industry and software development of complex systems.
